    About Eventing

Eventing is the triathlon of equestrian sport, combining dressage, cross-country jumping, and stadium jumping over one to three days. It demands versatility, courage, and fitness from both horse and rider, making it one of the most challenging and exciting horse sports.

Eventing levels range from Beginner Novice (cross-country fences at 2'7") to Advanced/CCI5* (solid obstacles at 3'11" with complex questions). Cross-country courses cover miles of terrain with ditches, water complexes, banks, and combinations that test boldness and fitness. Modern safety innovations include frangible pins, MIM clips, and mandatory air vests. Key U.S. events include the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day, Fair Hill International, and the American Eventing Championships.
